The Egypt Team of CNCEC16 has been Awarded the Title of “Outstanding Overseas Team” for 2025 by the Group.
On March 20, China National Chemical Engineering held its 2026 Overseas Operations and Foreign Affairs Work Conference, at which the Egypt team of the 16th Chemical Construction Company was honored with the title of “Outstanding Overseas Team” for 2025.
Over the past year, the 16th Chemical Construction Egypt team has thoroughly implemented the Group’s strategy, focusing on the new energy and chemical sectors, and achieved remarkable operational results. Adhering to the “integrated production and operations” model and securing market share through on-site performance, the team successfully facilitated the implementation of several key projects, including the Xinfeng (Egypt) Equipment Manufacturing Center, a 600,000-ton-per-year soda ash plant, and the Red Sea Wind Power Project. It also achieved rolling development in Egypt’s green energy market, securing projects such as a 1.1 GW wind power project. The Angel Yeast expansion project received high praise from the client, and multiple projects met their expected profit targets. Leading multiple sister companies within the system, the team jointly established the Egypt International Equipment Manufacturing Base, which has become a key showcase for “Made in China, Chinese Technology, and Chinese Standards.” Having been rooted in Egypt for nine consecutive years, the team has developed into a vital base for China National Chemical Engineering in North Africa. By establishing a local PMO platform and systematically cultivating local talent, the proportion of Egyptian employees at the branch reached 83.3% by the end of 2025, with management extending to mid- and senior-level positions; Actively fulfilling social responsibilities, the branch has built the “China National Chemical Engineering Egypt Home” brand, hosting 84 high-level delegations throughout the year; it has proactively led the production of promotional content such as “Chemistry Views the World: Egypt Edition,” conveying the philosophy of shared responsibility and mutual benefit, thereby effectively maintaining and enhancing the brand influence and reputation of “China National Chemical Engineering” in Egypt. Moving forward, the 16th Chemical Construction Company will use Egypt as a strategic foothold to continuously enhance its international project management capabilities and resource integration capacity. We are fully committed to transforming high-quality overseas projects into showcases of China National Chemical Engineering’s capabilities, helping to establish the company as a “golden calling card” for global chemical engineering.
