CNCEC16 Egypt Branch Launches “Spring Festival Celebration” Cultural Activities to Promote Cultural Integration Between China and Foreign Countries
During the Lunar New Year holiday, CNCEC16 Egypt Branch organized a series of unique corporate cultural activities. Through folk culture workshops, red envelope giveaways, calligraphy experiences, and group New Year greetings, the events allowed Chinese and foreign employees to enhance communication and strengthen bonds amidst the rich atmosphere of the “Chinese New Year,” further promoting the integration of corporate culture with local customs.
During the event, the company specially organized a “Spring Festival Folk Customs Class” to vividly explain the historical origins, traditional customs, and cultural significance of the Spring Festival to local Egyptian employees. From pasting Spring Festival couplets and staying up late on New Year’s Eve to the New Year’s Eve dinner, the accessible explanations gave foreign employees a more intuitive understanding of and appreciation for traditional Chinese culture.

During the interactive session, Chinese and local employees gathered together. Chinese staff personally guided local employees in writing their Chinese names with calligraphy brushes, conveying the warmth of culture and the joy of the festival with every stroke. The atmosphere was lively, with everyone eagerly taking up the brushes to experience the unique charm of Chinese calligraphy amidst the scent of ink.

Local employees were delighted to receive the red envelopes, expressing that this “New Year’s gift” from a Chinese company made them feel deeply appreciated.

At the conclusion of the event, Chinese and international employees exchanged “Happy New Year” in unison, celebrating the holiday together amid laughter and joy while expressing their best wishes for the coming year. This event not only allowed overseas employees to experience the rich festive atmosphere but also further bridged the gap between Chinese and international staff, strengthening team cohesion and a sense of belonging.
