Located in the New Beni-Suef Development Zone, Beni-Suef Governorate, south of Cairo, Egypt, the Yeast Production Line Project is undertaken by the Sixth Construction Company of China National Chemical Engineering Group. It represents a key project implemented by Angel Yeast in active response to the Belt and Road Initiative. Angel Yeast (Egypt) Plant was originally established in 2012, and over the years, the Sixth Construction Company of China National Chemical Engineering Group has been continuously involved in construction activities at the site, primarily focusing on yeast production line construction and plant maintenance works, forming a long-term and stable cooperative partnership.

This project involves an expansion with an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of yeast products. Upon completion, it will achieve an annual output of 18,800 tons of dry yeast and 2,000 tons of fresh yeast. During the construction period, the project created over 430 local jobs and, through technical training and on-site practice, cultivated a cohort of local professionals proficient in modern bio-fermentation processes. Throughout project execution, the Sixth Construction Company leveraged its technical expertise and management experience in industrial engineering, strictly controlling quality, safety, and schedule to ensure efficient project delivery.

The successful implementation of this project will significantly enhance the production capacity and international market competitiveness of Angel Yeast (Egypt), further strengthening the position of Chinese yeast products in the Middle East, Africa, and global markets.
